The IGT race to Asian Q-School starts 21 July at Waterkloof Golf Club. There will be seven events and the last event is at Wanderers Golf Club on the 30 September 2014.

The entry Fee for all race to Asian Q-School entries is R1400 per event.

All IGT race to Asian Q-School events is 3 days over 54 holes with a cut after round 2.

Eligibility for IGT Race to Asian Q-School

To be eligible for the IGT Race to Asian Q-School, players must be a member in good standing (Membership paid up) of the IGT Challenge Pro Tour. Contact 0783300440 for more info.

Players can play as much events as they want and no minimum events are required.

Sunshine Tour Players; Not eligible are Sunshine Tour players ranked inside the top 70 of the current Sunshine Tour 2014 Players Ranking in the following categories;

Cat 1, 2, 3a, 3c, 7a and 7d


All player outside the Top 70 on the current Sunshine Order of Merit are eligible.

How to Win;

  1. There is one spot available in each of the seven events.
  2. The winner of a Race to Asian Q-School event earn a spot to Asian Q-School 2015.
  3. A player can only win one spot.
  4. In case of multiple winners in the last event the last spot and any carried over spots, the final spot and carried over spots will be allocated to the highest finisher.
  5. In case of a tie for one spot there will be a count out process to be announced at last event.

  1. Players must have valid passport

1.1   You will need a passport valid for at least 6 months following your departure date. It is also recommended that your valid passport have at least 2 remaining unused pages for any necessary entry and exit stamps that may be issued.

2.1   Any player not in position of point 1.1 will lose his spot and no refund will be issued by IGT.

About 2014 Asian Q-School

Please note that the 2015 Asian Q-School will be held at more or less the same time as 2014 and will not interfere with the Sunshine Q-School dates.

The Asian Tour 2014 Qualifying School, was held in Hua Hin, Thailand from late January till mid-February 2014.

Sponsored by the Sports Authority of Thailand, the Qualifying School was held over two stages, the First Stage and Final Stage.

The First Stage was held over two sections, with Section A played at the Imperial Lakeview Golf Club and Royal Thai Army Sports Center, Suan Son Pradipat from January 29 to February 1. Section B was staged over three courses – the Imperial Lakeview Golf Club, Springfield Royal Country Club and Royal Thai Army Sports Center – from February 5 to 8.

The all-important Final Stage, where players will fight for top-40 finishes to earn playing rights on the premier Asian Tour in 2014, was held at the Springfield Royal Country Club and Imperial Lakeview Golf Club from February 12-15.

Officials said players can expect to enjoy the opportunity to play in between 26 to 28 Asian Tour tournaments in 2014.

Players who competed in the 2014 Qualifying School will also be eligible to play on the region’s secondary circuit, the Asian Development Tour (ADT), which has grown into a record 15-tournament Schedule in what is only its third season this year. Since the start of 2013, the ADT also receives world ranking points which is a huge boost for the development of the game in Asia.
