Mouton started the final day five shots behind overnight leaders Jaco Prinsloo and Sheldon Steyn. His final-round 8-under-par 64 was enough to win by one on 6 under par from Roberto Lupini, who shot a 3-under 69.

Mouton played the near perfect round and shooting a 8-under par 64 on Glendower is something special. Mouton rounds over the 3 days was 75, 71 & 64 to finish on 6 under par.

Mouton said. “My game was coming along nicely and it is just perfect to put a great round together. This set me up nicely for the remainder of the race to Asia events.”

Other notable scores came from Roberto Lupini with rounds of 74, 68 & 69 to finish alone in 2nd place. Lupini had a chance to force a playoff but his birdie putt missed on the 18th hole. Jaco Prinsloo, who shot 72, 69 & 71 and Herman Minnie with rounds of 71, 71 & 70 both made drops on the 17hole to see any hope of forcing a play off on the 18hole gone.

The Orange Crab Race to Asia is played over seven events during April and May and ends with the IGT Match Play at the end of May where there is one more place up for grabs.

The Orange Crab race to Asia is heating up nicely and with only 3 events left this is now a race to the final.
